Deerfield Vet Hospital has always featured a full-service pharmacy, and now we're bringing our professional staff and pharmacy to the Internet. Our client’s Internet pharmacy orders will ship directly from us; filled with the same medications we dispense in our hospital. Deerfield can mail your prescription direct to your door, or we’ll have it waiting here for you to pick up.

Our Doctors

Edward B. Caldwell, DVM and Denise E. Roche, DVM established the hospital in the summer of 1992. Dr. Caldwell is a native of Springfield and attended Glendale High School. Dr. Roche was born and raised in St. Louis, but now calls Springfield home. Both doctors graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia, Missouri in 1991. They moved to Springfield in 1992 to build this practice. Dr. Craig Bendickson joined the Deerfield team in 2004. Dr. Bendickson also graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and has experienced many facets of veterinary medicine over the past twenty plus years. “Doc” has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. The hospital staff has grown from one receptionist and one pet groomer in 1992 to a current staff of twelve. The doctors and staff of Deerfield Veterinary Hospital are committed to providing you the highest quality of care for your pet.
